Help & FAQ

Quick answers. Still stuck? Email us.

How does shot detection work?

Shot Trainer detects each swing on-device using your phone's camera — no extra sensors or launch monitor required. Just prop your phone on a tripod, start a session, and it captures every swing automatically.

Where should I place my phone?

Set it 2–3 meters behind the tee at roughly ball height, perpendicular to your target line, so the full ball flight is in frame. The in-app tripod guide walks you through it.

Do I need a tripod?

A tripod or phone stand gives the best results since the camera needs a stable, consistent view. Any standard phone tripod works.

Is my video saved to the cloud?

Yes. Every session is backed up automatically so you can replay it from any device. Free users can access videos for 30 days; Pro unlocks unlimited access to your full history.

What's included in the free version?

You can record and analyze shots with daily limits. Pro removes the limits and unlocks unlimited video history, full stats trends, club analysis, and HD share images.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Sign in with the same account you used to subscribe, then use "Restore Purchases" in settings. Your Pro status follows your account.

Which devices are supported?

iOS is available now on the App Store. Android is coming soon — join the waitlist on the home page to be notified at launch.

How is my shot direction classified?

Each shot is automatically classified into one of seven shapes — straight, draw, fade, pull, push, slice, hook — so you can spot tendencies by club over time.
